More sanding and joint compound. Maybe one or two more layers and we'll be ready for paint. While waiting for it to dry, we got started on trimming out the skylights. We're using a birch plywood and will be painting it the same as the trim and beadboard. Here are two views of the before and after. One down, two to go!
I think using similar material and color on the trims and the beadboard is pretty classy. Simultaneous design always is – in a subtle manner. What cover do you plan to incorporate it with, by the way?
